measles
i suspect my 16 month old has the measles and as we went to mothersgroup last monday (rash appeared only yesterday, but classic symptoms prior to rash) what is teh risk posed to pregnant mums???? one mum is around 14 weeks pregnant and im concered about the risks to unborn bubs, any one help??

Jols, I am pretty sure the risk is only in the first trimester, so 14 wks should be just ok (I remember that my ob told me to wait until I was 12 weeks for Jack to have his MMR vax). Also, she might have had the MMR or have immunity already hopefully.
