Breast pumps which is better?

hello,
I'm looking at buying a breast pump and want to know which is better manual or electronic and also which is the better brand. I'm only 16 weeks pregnant so I still have a while to go yet before I have to make a choice

I would wait till bubba is here and see if you need a good electric one for pumping often, or just a hand held for the odd occasion. Pumps are very personel, and what works great for one mum, may not work for you.

A lot of people say Medela are the best, but i didn't like them :wall:. I have an Ameda Purely Yours double pump and love it, but different pumps for different requirements!! The ABA hire pumps for a small cost, and this may suit you better for a little while if thats all you'll need.:D

Good luck on your search, and I *think* there may be a thread here somewhere on pumps too....
