Alternatives to Panadol?
Thinking that DD is beginning to teeth, and I really have to buy some sort of pain and fever relief (I currently don't own any)
However, I really HATE nurofen and there is no way Id give that rubbish to Charlotte, and am really not too fussed with panadol (I wouldn'teven take it myself) so DF and I were wondering if there is anything else that will effectively reduce fever in babies? Can you get baby asprin? or a natural alternative would be best...
TIA :)

Try cooled steamed julianned carrots to chew on, or anything cold for her mouth to munch on.
There's a gel, SM-33 that's just wonderful, it has an anesthetic in it (pharmacy only) similar to throat lozenges. Bonjela has aspirin in it I think? Best apply to a cooled teething toy...
I do know for myself I chew on cloves, but I don't know how to translate that to a baby.

This wouldn't help with fever, but for teething we use Brauers Teething Relief. It goes down really easily and seems to calm her.
