games for a 6 month old?
I just realized the other day that me and Aurelia don't really have games we play. I mean we play "peek-a-boo" and I blow raspberries on her tummy, and sometimes hold her above my head and say "Flying baby flies through the air!" but that's about it.
What are some other games we can play?

Peek-A-Boo with a toy, hide it behind your back then "boo!"
Go outside & talk about the clouds, trees, flowers etc.
Fill a water bottle up with pretty things (glitter, beads that sort of thing) or coloured water for her to shake.
This Little Piggie or Round & Round The Garden is always fun.
Blow bubbles for her to watch & "catch".

What about hand things/action ryhmes:
The hokey pokey with you moving her limbs
I'm a little teapot with actions
If you're happy and u know it...with actions
Those sort of things?
Hiding an object/toy under a rug or putting it in sight but just out of reach so she reaches for it
Reading picture books together
Dancing around the room together

play 'where's the....?'
start teaching her objects around the room, like 'wheres the tic toc clock, THERE's the tic toc clock' wheres the light, THERE's the light' and repeat over and over the name of the object..... my little one was so thirsty for knowledge she knew so many things around the room by about 7 or 8 months.... and she LOVES the game and gets so excited when i say where's the keys on the hook and she immediately looks at them and starts laughing.... good to introduce language and vocabulary too... we now do where's hollie's nose, where's hollie's foot, where's hollie's teddy etc... and she will either point at them or crawl and fetch the teddy.... so cute!!
