to show or not to show??
I am sure there have been posts about this topic before
But just as a general rule, when do you start to "show". I am 7 wks atm and normally have a chubby tummy...and am expecting it to grow anytime now.
Also, I am worried about wearing those tight fitting pants...is this normal!
Thanks to anyone who posts

I'm 12 weeks, PG with my first. I don't think I am showing yet. I have put on 1.2 kg. I have bought some maternity clothes, as most of my clothes had become tight (but that had been before I was PG anyway). I'm expecting to see a growing belly in the next 5 weeks or so. Wearing tight cloths, wont harm your baby as the uterus is still safely tucked away in your pelvis. If the clothes are unconfortable, don't wear them.

With my first pregnancy I didn't show until I was about 6 months pregnant, but with my second I showed pretty fast, at about 3-4 months people could tell. I didn't really buy many maternity clothes both times, just a maternity skirt with my first and I bought some comfy maternity cargo pants with my second. I just bought clothes in larger sizes as I needed them.

I am 22 weeks and still not showing properly. I have a belly, but you wouldn't ask if I was pregnant if you didn't know.
With each pregnancy you show earlier, but with the first I think most people show later from about 20 weeks on.

I thought I had a bit of a pop belly at about 8 weeks that seemed to disappear. It was just bloating for me! I did have a little pop belly at around 20 weeks, but it still wasn't really obvious until about 6mths.
I don't think it really matters if you have a chubby belly before hand or not... One of my friends looked like she was about to burst at 17weeks! Another was bearly showing with 3 weeks to go. They were both about the same size before they got preg. Its so hard to say when you'll show.
Good luck with everything. This is such an exciting time in your life!! :)
