recurrent miscarriage and hormones

Hello,
I have had 2 miscarriages last year (June 07 and August 07)and last month found out I was preganant but had a blood test done at 4 and half weeks and found out my hormones were low so my gynae thought it had been a viable pregnancy in the early stages which had gone wrong or else a very young pregannacy. My period started a few days later. My other 2 miscarriages were at 7.5 weeks and at 8 weeks.
I have been to another gynae as I have had lots of blood tests and all seems to be fine and he tells me to just keep trying. I already have one son of 2 years ( and had no complications.) The other gynae said that it may be my hormne level as my cycles are short ( i ovulate around day 11/12 and my cycle is usally around /24/25 days)My cycle has changed since breast feeding with my first son. I have been recommended to take estrogen every day and progesterene (from day 12 of my cycle until my period arrives or to continue if I have fallen pregnant) plus a low dose of asperin. I do not know this is def the problem and am a little afraid to take all these hormones incase it is not the problem and will further complicate things. Please let me know your views if you have taken these or know about this treatment.
