c-sect question
Hi i had an emergency c-sect 9 1/2 months ago i am currently 7.1 weeks pregnant and im getting a mild ache in the right side of the scar sometimes - so i did some reading now im stressing coz i read about ladies whom the egg imbeds in the scar of the previous c-sect ...and they result in losing the baby ...

Try not to stress too much. I'm sure that what you are talking about is a rare occurance. I had lots of funny little niggles and different pains, muscles stretching etc for this pregnancy than the last one - and all centered around my c-section scar, but all is good! I wouldn't worry too much, things are just getting warmed up down there again - remember, they haven't been used for a while!!! :D

Hi Hun
Try not to worry too much, i have had a few c-sections now, and found that after the ones i had closest together, that i had alot of discomfort, and soreness all the way through to varying degrees, and my OBYGN told me it is because they have to cut not only muscles, but nerves etc too when having the c-section, so they do take a fair while to heal and repair,,,so if you have another pregnancy fairly close,,, you can get a bit of soreness from that ;)
I am sure your bub is nestled in nicely, and it is just your body readjusting to pregnancy once more.
Best of luck with your new little bundle on the way :D

don't panic meegm - I have had a couple of c/s too and I get a bit of pain in one area interior (doesn't match with my exterior scar thus I assume itis the interior scar). It usually relates to times of major internal stretching so in addition to what Lil-Aussie said it is more likely to be these kind of things happening rather than implantation in the scar tissue. If it does get beyond a little ache go see someone but remember too that the location of early pregnancy aches for other can cooralate with the scar area of those who have had previous c/sections cause thats just where all the activity in early pregnancy is anyway.
Hope it doesn't give you too much grief for much longer.

Oh god i hope so - i went tinto this one feeling pretty confident much more so than the 1st ... but it seems the last few weeks ive been worrying again - is it ok, does it have a heart beat .... all the wonderful things we think about ....

Hi Meegm
Try not to worry hun. If your egg hass implanted in your scar it would be unusual for that alone to cause you to loose your baby. As others have said your pain is related to your body growing. The scar is not as flexable as the rest of your uterus and this is one of the reasons why you are feeling most of the pain in that area. Also a CS is a major operation and it will take time for your body to recover. I am sure that everything is fine

Hey meegan, don't stress hun. I had a c/s with my first and felt the same during my next pregnancy. I think with each pregnancy you tend to feel more stretching and pulling(well i do anyway). I'm sure everything will be fine. Why not give your Ob of midwife a call so they can put you at ease.
