Hi December,
From what I can recall I think Hummus is ok to eat. I remember eating it when pregnant I know that much. It is made up of chick peas, garlic, tahini (which is just sesame seeds), spices and lemon juice and oil. There is nothing there that should harm your bubba or you. It is very good for you actually and was probably the better choice than a salad sandwich. Especially if the sandwich wasn't freshly made. So don't stress, you were perfectly able to eat it and I hope you enjoyed it as well.

I cant understand why there would be anything wrong with hummus, its one of the healthiest things you can have!
Dont worry!

Hummus is fine! There is no soft cheese or anything like that in it!! It's one of the few dips I buy to eat while I'm pg!

I've had hummus dog only knows how many times during this pg. I'm at 37 weeks and both of us are just fine. Don't worry.

Going to go a bit against the grain here....
Was it refrigerated or sitting out in a buffet thing? These sorts of things really really need to be refrigerated. Listeria can grow in just about anything when it's at the right (or wrong LOL) temperature. If it was heated with the falafel then you're cool or if it was served cold then you're also fine. Room temperature is where you need to be careful.
