my little baby is growing up - her first tooth
I can't believe it - my little baby isn't a newborn anymore :( she was chewing on my finger today and i felt something familar and a little sharp, and there is the very tip of a tooth coming through!
Pretty early huh @ 4 months huh??? I still can't believe it... with DS i wanted him to reach all these milestones quickly - with her i just want her to stay a baby.
At least with both my kids they seem to be great teethers - only nappy rash with DS (it was how we knew a tooth was on the way), no fevers or any grizzling - behaviour was completely normal - including when he got 2 molars on 1 day!
Other than everything in the mouth and excess drool with DD (which is completey normal behaviour at this age regardless of teeth), i wouldn't have known..
What really gets me is everyone sees the above behaviour and goes "oh, she much be teething" to which i scoff and tell them thats how they learn and explore at her age, and the drool is because of the lack of a being about to swallow saliva - so i think the tooth was purely co-incidence with this behaviour - but everyone (i.e. MIL!) is going to say "i told you so" grrrr....
