This is a website of a midwife who attends births of small women who are told they have big babies, he has put their stories and images on a webpage just to show that it doesn't matter how small you are or how big your baby is, your body is perfectly capable!

And I was pretty impressed a few weeks ago when one of my mums, who is so teeny tiny and slim and 50kg prepreg - shot out her 9.5lb first babe in six hours :lol:

How great is it that it's a male midwife? Amazing stuff - especially the last one. You don't appreciate the size of the head compared to the pelvis til you see pics like that.

OMG at that moulding!!! I thought Lindsay's was bad when he was born, but by golly that takes the cake. I could look at these all day LOL. I wonder how tall he is for comparison?

I was always told that I would never be able to give birth naturally, being a small woman. I am 5ft tall and was 47kg before falling pregnant with my 1st. I put on 20 kg with that pregnancy, and naturally birthed a 9lb 1oz (4.1kg) 56cm long baby with a 36cm head circumference, after 6 hours of active labour. Two days later I was discharged from hospital.
It just goes to show that the female body is truly amazing! :D
That moulding is extreme! Punky's head looked like a jelly bean when she was born (didn't get a picture damn it!!) & I am so NOT small! :lol:
