What could it be?

Today ive had a bit of fluid loss not much but enough to wet my undies.

At first i thought it might have been urine, but it does not smell like urine and is sort of sticky.

I haven't had much of it.


could this be my waters?

Depending on colour and consistancy- could be increased discharge.

I had some fluid leakage it smelt like...... well semen... i have read that it can smell sweet. If your concerned perhaps see your MW or even GP... best to be safe...

It is possible that it is just an increase of mucus and not your waters. Amniotic fluid does have a sweet and rather distinctive smell, almost earthy I suppose you could say - not like semen and not like mucus. and it isn't sticky at all (well not for me anyway)

if it is ur waters then it will continue slowly. put a pad on so if u have to go to hosp they will check the pad.

its not moucousy it is rather runny.

I have not seen any mucuousy bits at all.

I rang the MW at the hospital and they said to put a pad on and see what happens

Sometimes the mucus can be really runny and thin, not like a 'normal' mucus. Definately pop a pad on and you can always take it in for them to test it.

It sounds like mucus to me
