Does it matter which way boys wipe?

I haven't worried about which way Yasin wipes but I suddenly wondered this morning if I should.
I suspect it's a pretty silly question but I just want to be sure :redface:

I can say I've never worried about it with Luke either :dunno:
I can't see why it would with boys, but I'm no expert ;)

I do remember the nurse telling me in hospital when I was changing his nappy that it didn't matter what way I wiped him, but saying that... he's going to be 10 this year, so things may have changed?!

I dont really worry with DS. Not sure if being circumcised or not would make a difference though.. i guess with girls, its just more likely for them to get an infection as their bits are more open iykwim.

We don't worry about it either.

I wipe, up & down & left & right, not in any perticular order LOL you pretty much just wipe every were till its clean!

my mchn said it did, same as girls, so I have always done front to back.

From someone who nurses older men, those that wipe back to front usually end up a whole lot messier!

When teaching them to do it themselves, back to front is often easier for them to manage, but make sure they wipe around the base of their testicles.

There, there's a little tidbit of information you weren't expecting.

Yeah the testicle thing is important, because if they don't wipe it properly it can burn there, and it ain't nice!

I do back to front with Seth, and will probably teach him that in the same way I taught Paris because it can get Messy otherwise.
