vaginal cyst
I feel like the problems i'm having post birth are never ending!!
I have recently developed a quite large perfectly round hard lump at the entrance to my vagina. After doing a bit of dodgy self diagnosis on the internet i'm thinking my symptoms seem to match those of a vaginal cyst.
Has anybody had one before and how did you get rid of it.
I had a difficult labour and suffered a uterine prolapse as well as a prolapse of the vaginal wall after giving birth. Am not sure if this lump is a prolapse thing or something else!
I was talking to my osteopath about it and she said that you can get lumps like that if your bone is rubbing on bits that it shouldn't be, causing sort of cartlige type matter to develop. As my pelvis has completely shifted, dropping down, forward and on an angle, she suggested that this might be causing the problem.
Am off to see a gynie in the next few weeks but just wondering if anyone had any advice in the meantime.
It's so big, I'm consious of it every time I move.
They don't put this sort of stuff in the pregnancy books do they!!
