Hi, just excited because Madeleine has her first two bottom teeth coming through now! We are so excited. The edges are so serrated (sp?)! She isn't quite 4 months old. What age did your Bub's first tooth/teeth come through?

I think (from sketchy pregnant memory) that DS started to teeth when he was about 4 months.. so we were waiting.. waiting... waiting.. finally he got them at 7 months.. 3 months of grizzling, drooling, crying... sleepless nights... ahhh.... no wonder I've blocked it out!!! haha!!!
Congrats to your beautiful little girl.. you must be very proud!!
please don't tell me i will have 3 months of hell?!
DS started teething around 3 months of age, and didn't see any of those until about 6 months ( might have been a couple of weeks before??).
He now has 6 teeth with what looks like 4 more on the way, and he is 9 months old on Monday:)
I can see her bottom teeth, the tops of them are sticking out of her gums and they are quite sharp. Is this normal and do you think she'll be really whingey now?
DS had two bottom teeth through at 5.5 months. We only had a week of grizzliness and one bad night. He loved chewing on his bib or a face washer
Bindy - you will find that they are grizzly leading up to the breaking through of the skin usually, so if they are through and you didn't have too many issues then you should be fine! We had alot of drool, some red cheeks and then pegs popping out up to a week after all that - she wasn't grizzly at all with hers (so far - touch wood! Not sure how painful the others are that come through from 1-3yrs?) So you never know!
Tan, she was a bit whingey last week but all ok now. I can definately see her teeth! They are really sharp too. She has been ok sleeping right through, she has slept through since 8 weeks old from memory. Last week she tossed and turned a bit through the night but last night she slept right through without a problem. Her teeth were visible from yesterday!
Aw.. how cute! My DS didn't get any teeth until 1 month ago!! He was whingey for approx 1 week leading up to them breaking through but was fine after that!
sophie was 9 months, she has been a a pretty good teether with no major problems! she has another canine coming through now and yes she chews on the thumb on that area but apart form taht, no issues
its the teeth actually moving in the bone that causes most of the pain, not necessarily breaking the gum,
