Thin endometrium - Accupuncture Perth, recommendations?

Hi

I have been diagnosed with a thin endomtrium following a D&C at 12/3 last August. My periods are getting progressively lighter and shorter,(one day this month), and it has been suggested that the Estrogen receptors in my endometrium aren't working properly and another D&C may be tried. I am looking to accupuncture as I have read this can help. Does anyone know of a good one in Perth?

Does anyone know anything about endomtrial estrogen receptors??:doh:

Also, any suggestions to thicken an endometrium would be much appreciated too.

i had my first acupuncture done on sat at metro health in maylands, so obvisouly dont know if tis worked yet, but they were lovely ( i saw peppe) it wasnt painful and i definately got some very strange sensations so something was going on!
Ive heard drinking pineaplle juice can help thicken the endometrium
As far as the receptors go i dont know too much but i know that receptors do a thing called up and down regulation in response to whatever hormone/ transmitter etc they are recieving. I think if you were to have too much estrogen they up regulate eg you get more receptors and if you have very little estrogen you have less (down regulation. So possible increase of phyto estrogens (legumes soy beans etc) in your diet may help up regulate, but i am no expert just a student!but i hope this helps
