HCG levels??

Along with a long list of other things, the Doc ordered a BHCG with the blood test. This I assume is the HCG level.

I know there are threads on these levels somewhere here, but for the life of me cant find them... I would like to know the range of HCG levels for me today... I am 4w 6d pregnant, (or 20dpo) and would like the levels for this stage.

I had the blood test this morning. I'll ring in the morning for them, so I can have a fair idea myself. I'm hoping their in the "normal" range, and not too high!!!:lol: This will be the first "real" indication of twins, until the ultrasound, so would just like to know what the average is.

If anyone knows the levels, or where the threads are, PLEASE let me know... I'm hopeless!!!:lol:

Here are some ranges. There are different ranges depending on the testing place so they are just an estimation. When you get the results ask for the range as well. Good luck!!

Week 4 5 to 426
Week 5 18 to 7340
Week 6 1,080 to 56,500
Weeks 7 to 8 7,650 to 229,000
Weeks 9 to 12 25,700 to 288,000
Weeks 13 to 16 13,300 to 254,000
Weeks 17 to 24 4,060 to 165,400

Weeks 25 to birth of baby 3,640 to 117,000

4 to 6 weeks after birth Less than 5

Be aware that even when a pregnancy is miscarrying the levels can slightly increase for a while, but not at the rate expected if the pregnancy was progressing normally. For example a serum HCG level of 3,400 IU/L on Saturday, followed by a level of 3,600 IU/L on Monday may be of concern, as the level should be more like 5,000 to 7,000 IU/L. Also it is normal for the HCG level to start decreasing after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

The HCG hormone can stay in a woman's blood at low levels for up to 4 to 6 weeks after a miscarriage.

Okay, my result for 4w 6d, depending on O day, was around 850!!!!:dance:

Should I count that as double for 4 weeks, or mid range for 5 weeks???

I'm still confused, but as i told all the girls in TTC 6 months a while ago, I'm sure I Oed late and am only about 4w 2d.

I used to have 33 day cycles, but as this was my first in 4 months, I just dont know... I'm just giving a due date on LMP, a 28 cycle. If its a 33 one,the blood test was at 4w 2d. So confusing!!! But great results!!!!:dance::dance:

I just found out this week that I am pregnant - we used ivf and this was our first transfer, but when i was tested it was 4 weeks spot on and my reading was 800. As far as they are concerned at that point anything over 100 is a good reading.
