Gestational Diabetes

Hi, I have to have the 2 hour long test to see if I have infact gestational diabetes as my blood sugar levels were high after my glucose test last week. This is my second pregnancy and I'm new to all of this as every thing went so smoothly the first time around. Is there anyone who is in the same boat, I'm just so worried about it not going away after my son is born.....

I was diagnosed with GDM at 30wks and have been controlling it just changing my diet. But I would not worry yourself too much until you have the final test as a large percent of these then come back normal. I also work in pathology at a KEMH in Perth. And if you do have it in the end I have found it easy to control and it hasnt affected my baby at all so the likely hood of it not going away is very slim. Goodluck!
