not sure if you mean cloth nappies or sposies?
Babylove are good disposables and they are cheaper than huggies and most people will swear by Aldi which are v cheap.
I use cloth 95% of the time, but when I use sposies I've changed to Aldi, and I swear they are BETTER than Huggies. Muche cheaper too :D
Yep i ama fan of Aldi sposies too. But I use cloth now
We use snugglers during the day,, they are around $30 a box in Big W..
I use huggies at night as they just seem a little more comfy
I highly recommend Aldi nappies too. I use them overnight and have never had a leak.
During the day I use sposies from a nappy manufacturers warehouse. They have bags of 100 seconds nappies for around $15, but they are located in Melbourne so there is no point telling you where to get them! Do you have a Nappy Land in Sydney? Sometimes they do cheap sposies.
I think she means cloth nappies.
Lorirae check out the cloth nappy threads. Maybe a mod can move this for you.
I really like the pocket change nappies. They are reasonably cheap but still great. I have a few ebay cheapies but they are not great. Mostly not fantastic fit or terrible clossures or not great absorbancy comparitively.
Just wondering where can you purchase the Aldi nappies?? I live in SA and haven't heard of them before, maybe they aren't available here??!! They sound very good though.

Aldi is a cheap supermarket in the eastern states, and they sell their own "home" brand of nappies.
I dont think they have Aldi in SA though...they dont have it over here in Perth either :(
Thanks LimeSlice for the reply. No Aldi supermarket here sadly. Oh well. Sorry to steal someone elses thread but just wondering what brand of nappies people could recommnd for my 2 month old son? He's wearing huggies newborn still and they are excellent but are getting too big for them so went up to next size but they keep leaking wee up the back. Same thing happened with snugglers. Any suggestions?? Maybe these are still too big for him and his weewee can lift up in the bigger size therefore wee is shooting up top and not soaking in ikwim??!! :dunno:

im going to have to try these Aldi nappies!! everyone seems to think they are awsome!
I haven't tried the ALDI nappies yet but I do swear by the "you'll love coles" baby nappies, huggies are way to expensive so we went with the coles brand ones and have never looked back!
Danni...what does he weigh? If you were on the newborns the next size up is infant - are they the ones you have? A few GFs of mine found that they went straight to the crawler, the next size again.
If they are leaking out the back it is unlikely it is cos they are too big, more like too small. (absorbancy wise) unless you are not doing them tight enough and high enough (which I doubt)
How long does he wear them for? Is he a heavy wetter anyway? When is he leaking out - sitting in the car, overnight?
just have to second here that Aldi nappies are the ultimate!
I wish we had an Aldis here too.
I actually stopped a mother of a young (about 5 months) baby the other week while out shopping and asked her what she thought of the You'll love Doles nappies as she had them in her trolley. She said they were fantastic. She had a boy and her sister had a girl and used them to with greta success.
She said she hadn't tried the Ultra Dry one though.
She also mentioned that the Woolies ones weren't good.
I plan to buy the YLC ones and give them a go.
On a persomal note. Last time round I used Huggies at night (once ds was sleeping past 4 hours at a stretch at night) and Cosyfits during the day. I found that they were the cheapest but best that wa available to me living in a small isolated country town.
Hi LimeSlice, thanks again for the reply. My son is just over 5 kgs so I tried the huggies infant but they seem so much bigger than the newborn as they sit really high on his belly. I tried them anyway to find they leaked straight out the back when he's laying in his rocker. Exactly the same thing happened with the small snugglers. I'm using the newborn huggies still now and they don't leak at all and keep all the wee in even over night. Maybe I wasn't doing them up tight enough? I don't know, I might just wait until he gets a little bigger and try again. I didn't have this problem with DD, trying to get used to the whole little boy thing!

Danni, I dont have a boy so sant really help with...ahem...directional leakage! lol
I found when I used sposies the best thing was to go with the weight ranges rather thanthe size. They might seem a little big, but they may not be big enough absorbancy wise. I would try the crawler size, they are not that much biggerthan the infant size, but they are designed to hold more.
The other thing is if it is only happening in the bouncer have a look at how he sits in it...does it have a strap that comes up between his legs that could be affecting things? Does it leak straight out or is it a compression leak (wet where he has actually been sitting on it?)
Anway, if it works, ace, if it doesnt , oh well sorry!! lol
There is always cloth! :0
