Rainy day activities for an active (nearly) 2 year old?

Does anyone haveideas for Rainy day activities for an active 23 mth old?

Messy But my sis does finger painting with my nephew he creates some great master pieces

You could make a fort from pillows, or put a big sheet or blanket over the dining table to make a cave/cubby, have a tea party (you would be surprised at the amount of boys that go for that sort of thing LOL), make playdough or puppets?

Playdough, get them to help you make a picky plate for lunch (food arranged into a picture is a picky lunch at our house LOL). You could make hansel and gretel trails around the house with small pieces of paper then help vacuum them up afterwards. Enjoy!
