Child Care Options.
I'm in Brisbane Bayside - the Cleveland to Manly area and I'm looking for childcare for when I go back to work (which may be in a few weeks, with the way our financial situation is going. But I'm unaware of how to go about even finding a place. Even, we wont have a lot for childcare....
WDID?
How much is average/a good amount per day or hour?
What do I look for?
I don't know who is going to have a worse time of it, me or DS. He'll be between 9mths and 12mths when he goes. I'm so nervous.
We use cloth nappies - what places will accomodate that? How do they work with toilet training? What are the ratios? Do they use ebm? Provide foods? Can I come in at lunch and bf? NEar my work or DH?
Does any-one know of ones in this area? Or what to ask/look for?
I'm so confused.:(

The best thing to do is to go in and check places out, write all the things you want to know down before hand and ask away.
This way you will get all your answers you are after and will be able to get a feel for the place.
Some centres just wont feel right for you, so the best bet is to go and have a look.

I've looked into daycare for my 2 kidlets and it's really tough finding a spot. I did look at an ABC centre which is new and really spacious with great play equipment but it is $127 a day for my 2. Wow thats expensive - is there any point going back to work as we only qualify for the minimum rebate of 58c an hour. So I think It's hardly worth it!
