I got my ERGO today!!

Not a terribly important post but a bit of excitement for me;
My Chocolate coloured Organic ERGO came today & I am in LOVE!!

Punky could take it or leave it but even that is better to her previous reaction to any carrier I've had her in (ie screaming the house down & then some) AND she went to sleep THREE times in it!! :dance: (Yes I was wearing it around the house, and to the shop, and around the house... as soon as I got it... what's it to you?! :lol:)

I'm SO excited that I can catch a bus if I want to, or look in opshops.... oh the possabilites!!! :D

Simply cannot wait until she is big enough for the back carry too, I know she'll love it!

I am waiting ever so (NOT) patiently for my Ergo to arrive too. I only ordered it on Saturday though. Would be nice to have it today, I am taking the kids to a concert and no prams allowed.

Fingers crossed for you that your little Pumpkin starts to love her Ergo that bit more.

I LOVE ours too. Hard to go clothes shopping cause you can't try stuff on though LOL.

My DS is impossible at the scream-o-clock time of day and DH has taken to getting home from work and taking him for walks in it which has been a lifesaver for me! Loveeee the ergo.

Sounds great! So you're finding it comfy in the front carry? I've heard they are better in the back carry and not so comfy for the front so I was thinking of getting a Pikkolo instead...

It's fine for the front carry so far but am soooooooo looking forward to when she is big enough for the back carry - not too long to go!

Ordered a backpack for it that was supposed to get here today but the parcels were mixed up & I got somebody else's 'Mummy Hooks' & someone is getting my backpack!! *sobs* Hopefully it will all be fixed up soon. I have been using it at every opportunity - like yesterday I had a VERY overtired baby & I thought I'd give the ergo a go just because I could :) and because nothing else was working & she feel asleep in minutes!! Woot!

I didn't even know about the Pikkolo until after I'd ordered my ergo but they look good. Probably would have still got the ergo at this point however, just loving it!!

It's a hard decision- good to hear you love it so much!! Does the backpack attach on to it so you carry both on your back at the same time?

Katie, did you order through Bubblebubs too ? I wonder how long they will take to get them out.

Trish yep I ordered through bubblebubs too, I seen the thread on Saturday night and since I had just sold my HAB DH said I could get my ergo. I am constantly checking my front door for a package lol.

ren - you can wear it as a backpack on it's own or attach it to the back of the ergo - got mine re-sent & it arrived today, looks snazzy!!

Trish & Ozstar - I couldn't believe it when I saw the bubblebubs sale - it's always the way when you've just bought something, it's on sale elsewhere!! Mind you, mine is one of the organic ones & was on special but still, not as cheap as you lucky ducks!!

Sorry to hijack this thread but Trish did you get your ergo yet? I am just about to email them and see if mine was posted. I was really hoping to have it by the weekend :(

Nope haven't got mine yet either. On Bubblebubs home page it says that there may be a delay with the orders, but it would be nice to know just how long the delay is.

I was going to email them today too but didn't get around to it. Let me know if you get a reply from them.

Out of curiosity, how much did you guys get them for?

Trish I have emailed them, I remember seeing that they would be a while it would be nice of the order confirmation had some sort of note. Hopefully they get back to me with a time frame and I'll let you know.

you will get an email from them stating that fluffy mail is on the way when it has been dispatched if that helps!!
