Sharp Pain in my side??

Just now while sitting here I have this really sharp pain in my side. I thought because I was busting to pee. So I did that but this pain is still there, its actually really pain full to breath in, seems to make it worse. Its under my rib cage but just below on my right side.

Aww it really hurts!

any ideas?

Not sure what it is but I know how much it hurts as I got it during pregnancy too and breathing kills.
I'm sorry that these silly pains are ahppening to you and I hope they don't last too long or come too frequently.

This is quite common in pregnancy and is related to everything starting to stretch. Try a couple of panadol if it gets too painful.

Does it help if you stretch your arm over your head & bend to the side stretching your right side?? Generally helps me when I experience what sounds to be the same thing.
Also I agree to try the panadol if nothing else helps, if you dont like taking medication maybe just take one or two before bedtime & try to put up with it through the day?

Thanks, this is a new pregnancy thing for me! can't believe new symptoms into my 4th preg!
I had a bath & that helped it settle down but god it hurt, was like a stitch but only my fingers had been working out, on here LOL

I have had the same thing! This sharp stitch like pain new my ribs on the right side. Damm it hurts :( I normally try stretching out and digging my fingers in but I think that just distracts me from it :rolleyes:

Could it be indigestion? I know it sounds weird, but I have a hiatus hernia and sometimes get the exact pain you describe. It is really painful to inhale and it is on one side. When it happens to me I have some Mylanta which helps, but you still have to ride it out.

Trish it is a bit the same as when I get heartburn but just seems a weird spot to get it. I hasn't happened again though.
