first scan!

Hey ladies i just got a phone call and i am having my first scan on thursday the 5th june,they said they doing an internal one has anyone else had an internal one done?

if u are not too far along they will do an internal to get a better pic of things...

Yes I've had a couple of internal scans. They're a little uncomfortable but atleast you don't have to hold a full bladder!

yep Ive had 3.They are fine, you are really too busy looking at bubba to even notice!

They're fine - way better than a pap smear, lol! :lol:

I am going to request an internal scan. Cause I cant hold my bladder for that long, never have been able to. You will be fine, just relax and watch the screen. My first scan isnt until July2 so I have heaps to wait. I am so excited for you, wish it was my turn...

i have had about 10 of them , wow you will be so excited to see your baby, how many weeks are you ?

I've had a number of them over the years. I don't find them uncomfortable at all. Like some of the others have said, at least you don't have to have a full bladder, that can be absolute murder sitting there waiting for them to call your name.

hey ladies thank you all for your replys to my question i have had internal scans before so i know what to expect in that respect but i just didnt realise they do scans on pregnancy that way lol.
I am estimating i will be about 6 weeks but will see,they have told me to full bladder stil but i not drink the normal amount as i know he tell me to empty it lol
