Arvo All,
I went out for lunch and I had wedges with sour cream - like I normally would. Then I got back to work and started to freak out that I should not have eaten it!!
Is it ok to eat while preg??
Cheers

As far as I know it is OK - it is a pasturised milk product which is fine, I think.
Hey Kate,
Yummy sour cream. I had it all last pregnancy and eat it this one and my bubs fine. Like runnermum said its pasturised, so enjoy:)

I think it would only be a problem it had sat around for ages out of the fridge..Don't stress!! I'm sure it's absolutely fine! Yummm
OMG how yum!! It's fine to eat :) I ate wedges and sour cream last pg too!! MMMm now you have me wanting them!
the thing you need to be concerned about when it comes to dairy products, is the pasturisation.
There isnt a milk product sold in Australia that isnt pasturised, excluding some soft cheeses.
So brie , camambert, blue vein all NO!! lol
The process of the pasturisation kills the bacteria, however as I said, anything not pasturised is your concern. so no delli cheeses, farm cheeses, or soft/semi-soft cheeses.
HTH :)
