Hi- this is not really much of a problem as such- just wanted to know if anyone else experiences it?
Often when I am breastfeeding I feel nauseous. Sometimes it's quite strong and other times it is fairly weak- but still there. Doesn't happen with all feeds, but definitely at least one feed per day... I haven't found it to occur at any particular time of the day- it's random.
I am assuming it is something to do with the hormones?????

How old is your baby?
I did feel nauseous for the first week or two on and off during feeds. Similar to getting really bad pain on and off as well. I found that making sure I had a high enough intake of fluids really helped.

I am curious as why this happens too! I occaisonally feel the same when BF DS! He is now 8 months! Like Ashlea said maybe we are not drinking enough water?

Hmm I don't get the nausea anymore but have been getting headaches consistently which I generally put down to a lack of intake in water. Perhaps I really am not drinking enough.
Not that this solves YOUR problem lb, just a suggestion :lol:!

I have this, DS is now nearly 9 months and I still get it. I don't feel as sick as I did at the start but if I have just eaten or talk about food while feeding I still get a bit of nausea
