So-called "lazy bowel" HELP please
ok so apparently I have a "lazy bowel" and have had since I was a kid. The GP could offer no suggestions as to what to do.
My diet is a high fibre diet with lots of fruit & vegies, lots of liquids and also a fibre supplement, and also exercising.
Question is, what can I do (after the baby is born) to make my bowel not "lazy"? Is there some sort of exercise you can do or vitamins you can take? or do you need to take a bowel stimulant every so often just to get things moving? in which case could that cause more harm than good?
