What happens physically?

Sorry for the odd title, I wasn't sure what to put.

I was just wondering what happens with my body. I had an emergency c-section but was dialated 8cm (only reason for C-S was bub was in breech possie and no other alternative for safe arrival) I am wondering if my cervix will close up fully or what happens.

Yes Nae it closes up nicely! Once the placenta is born the release of hormones begin that sets your body on the road to birth recovery. The os is back to "normal" by 6 weeks post birthing.
