Confused!!!

Hi There,
Asking on behalf of a friend who went for dates ultrasound today and it revealed 3 sacs and only one sac had visable heart beat and the others seemed empty. Can someone please shed some light on whats going on?

I had the same thing with twins..
So one heartbeat and one other sac.. just means didnt develope properly..
