Ford Stationwagon Owners....

Ive got no idea what section this should be in, so mods please move where it need to go.

Now today driving Craig to work we all of a sudden realised our car does not have a 3rd anchor point. We have a cage barrier thing (no idea what the right name is) and it does have a 3rd plastic bit in the middle seat section where 'something' can go through (ie, possibly a car seat strap thingy)...but on the boot floor theres no bit where you can install an anchor bolt.

The 2 girls points were there, we just had to get the bolt put in which was ok...but nothing in the middle seat section

Does any one own a Ford Stationwagon and have 3 car seats??

only ford station wagons from 2002 onwards have 3 anchor points. We have an AU II wagon and it has 3 points. HTH

We have a 97 model, which year is yours?

We had a point already in the middle when we bought ours and then had 2 spots on the left and right hand sides to put 2 more points.

Ok well ours is a 2004 model....so maybe there is 3....LOL

When we got the car there were no bolts...we got them put in on the drivers side and passenger side. Before they put them in there were little round grey disks on the floor that you had to lift up then the bolt installed...but there is no grey disk in the middle...

We had the little round disks on either side too. Can Craig maybe lift the carpet up and have a look?

i would reckon there has to be a third there - just have to find it!!! LOL

Hi Kim, I have noticed on my grandpa's Falcon Wagon that the middle one is on the back of the back seat. not where the others are.

Ours is the same, there is a thing in behind the middle seat, not on the floor IYKWIM? Ours is a 2001 wagon.

Have you checked the roof? We dont have a ford but we do have a station wagon & the middle ancor point is in the centre of the roof at the back in a flip down compartment

Kim - you can have them put in anyway! Al would know where to send you to have it done if you need to go that way!
