small rice sized lump 13 month old shin

my little guy has this little hard like lump probably grain of rice sized on his right shin

it doesnt seem to bother him if i press it.

Any ideas what it could be ..

it has gotten a little bigger i noticed it ages ago and my DF said Ahhh its nuthin...

but today i felt it again and it has gotten a little bigger - it kind of feels like what a piece of floating bone might feel like... but it seems to be firm in its location..

he has been walking since 9mths old do youthink it could be a result of walking too early ?

im taking him to doctor monday but just need some info now if i can get some.

Im sorry, I can't help you with that... I'm not sure what it would be. Hopefully the Dr. can ease your minds on Monday... As long as your little man isn't complaining, I'm sure it is nothing to worry about! :hug:

he doesnt even care about it its just that ive felt it and of course im worrying.. and yep hopefully for nothing ! :)

it could be a fatty cyst!

My DD had a dermoid cyst that sounds like what you're describing. Hers was harmless and we had it removed when she was 2 years old.

it actually feels like a grain of rice aswell... off to the doctor tomorrow anyway to get it looked at... let you know what he says
