Thought it would be a bit of fun to let everyone know 'why is it......" with your little ones
SO here is mine...
WHY IS IT.... when DH gets home from work DD claps and screams in happiness. As soon as i get home from work she looks at me at the front door and bursts into tears!!!
Why is it... ds1 only likes MUMMY to change his horrid pooey nappies! Yuk.
Why is it... that DD will only let mummy put her to bed??? Otherwise its tears and "Mummyyyyyyyyyy"
Why is it.... that child #5, my darling Kane, only wants mummy when he is upset?? Cries and cries on daddy, gets handed over, only to snuggle into my shoulder, stop the tears, and smile over at daddy !!!!
Why is it that I can ask DS to do something countless times and he puts up a fight, but when DH asks him he jumps up and does it straight away! And he does it smiling... :rolleyes: :lol:
ooh my turn :D Why is it DH can enter the room (open plan living) and sit at the table and have a cup of tea and the children don't even bat an eye lid but when mummy does exactly the same thing, they are like moths to the flame? :lol:
Why is it that when I feed Iz, she turns her nose up at most of what I give her but if it's Dh she will scoff it down like a starving child?!!
Why is it........whenever I sit down to eat dinner DS3 hassels me and ends up with half my dinner or I starve and DH sits in peace to eat his
Why is it daddy can go to the toilet or have a shower on his own but mummy can't???
Why is it that when DF gets home from work both kids are angels and make mummy look like a liar when i say i have had a hard day and thats why nothing has been done!

Why is it that DH can play on the computer while I entertain DS but he won't entertain DS while I'm on the phone for five minutes?
Why is it that HE'S tired when I was up with DS in the middle of the night?
Why is it that DS needs Daddy in the room to go to sleep, but Mummy can kiss him goodnight and he'll read a book to sleep? (Haha, I love my son! OK, last night only, but I still love him.)
Why is it that DH comes home from work after I've had a hard day with DS and says "go have some time for yourself and cook dinner!" Since when has cooking dinner been time for myself??
Why is it that DH never gets up to DS in the middle of the night and his excuse is "I work..." Hello!! I work 3 days a week too and come home to a full time job of DS (even if DS is the best job in the world!)
Why is it that DD never wants Daddy in the middle of the night?
Why is it that DD never throws up over Daddy?
Why is it that when DD wants Mummy in the middle of the night to throw up all over Daddy gets to grumble about being disturbed?
LOL
Why is it the Mummy that always staggers out of bed to see to crying DD in the middle of the night when Daddy manages to sleep through it all???
And...why oh why is it that only Mummies can breastfeed? I'd happily loan off my boobies to DH so that he can do newborn nightfeeds next time around!
