Stroller recommendations
We have the BeemQ 3-wheeler for our DD and we are very happy with it. We are, however, considering purchasing a stroller that is for quick trips into shops - something very light and easy to just grab - IYKWIM! What do people suggest?
1. Whart sort do you have?
2. How much did it cost?
3. Is it worth it or keep using current pram?
Thanks!:D

I have a Maclaren Quest and I reckon Maclaren's are the best strollers you can buy. So easy to steer and really lightweight. Unfortunately they are quite expensive, but I bought mine second hand from eBay for a bargain.
You will probably find once you have a stroller you will barely use your pram any more! They are so much easier to get in and out of the car and to manouver around shops.

I have a stellcraft profile, it is easy to fold up and down and has a front bumper that can detach steers well, at present using it with the unity baby carrier as bub is only 2 and a bit weeks old but is great. With dd1 and dd2 I used a stroller with them ones they were about 10 months or so as the big pram was a pain to use. I brought back then a childcare brand one and only replaced it this time as it is 8 years old and worn out.

Ditto to Trish. Same stroller and we loooooove it. Will use it for Izzy and have bub in a sling for a few months and then use our P & T.
They hold value really well too so if you need to sell it later on you will probably make back the same amount because they are a bit excy. Well worth the investment though. The Quest is 5.5kgs and I can fold it up with one hand, holding Izzy in the other, and pregnant. :)

I have an el cheapo from Kmart. It's great! Cost less than $50, lays back and is light and easy to fold. Steering is average but as I didn't need it for any long trips that wasn't an issue.
We bought it when Darcy was 9months to take to Tassie on a driving holiday.
Since then we've only used the 'big pram' for going for walks everyday - so we still use both.
Now she's bigger, she walks obviously but sometimes she still asks for a stroller, so it's good just to store in the boot IYKWIM?

I've previously bought a pooh bear stroller from target not sure on brand was around $80 and a stroller from big w can't remember brand was about $120, I found it great as both my monkeys got older. The only problem was they didn't last very long when we started walking to school and I ended up reverting back to the pram. I'd recommend a stroller for occasional shopping trips ect but not for long term use they just don't hold up as well as a pram. The wheels started to vibrate and shake and drove me bonkers.

I've got a Mother's Choice shopping stroller. It's great. Can't remember the cost exactly but it was under $100 (around $80 I think) on special at the time from Kmart. It has room underneath for some shopping, has drink holders which come in very handy. It is only about as wide as me so I know exactly where it will fit when out and about and it is easy as to fold and unfold - one easy movement. Because of it's compact nature it doesn't take up much room in the boot.
