Are clots normal
(have to re post this as site went down just as posting and it has wiped what I said - previously posted as AF returned but have concerns)
Ok, my AF returned after 3 weeks missing and not pregnant. My flow was really heavy for day 1 & 2, by day 3 I started passing some really large clots.
Since my Emergency D&C in april when my AF returned I started passing large clots by about day 3 or 4 and then after that flow would ease.
Should I be worried that maybe this time is was a missed miscarriage or that it's just now part of my cycle.

I couldnt say for sure what is the case in your situation, but alot of women get clots with menstruation. And also, yes - cycles do change. I have personally seen some significant changes in my bleeding after different stages in my life - age, child birth, surgery, pregnancy loss....going from big chunky clots (definatly mentruation not miscarrages), to just blood, to little sprinkles of blood/clots.
If you have not had a period for a while also, then the first one you get again can be a bit of an 'odd' one.
Hope thats of some help to you.

I get clots too. Usually around day 2-3 ill get clots. Its always been the case for me. I dont think its anything to be worried about.

I just went to my doctor concerning this (and other matters) and I think if they are bigger than 3-4cm across, you'll need to get an ultrasound to check there is not fibrous matters/scarring etc in your uterus. Clotting is normally normal, but if they are 'bigger' than you think, I would get it checked out... Ditto on Salsa on 'odd' ones after not having one for a whlie.

Acupuncture is great for cycle regulation and clotting, I am seeing someone at the moment.
