We have found a solution!!!!

YAY! Finally an answer to our prayers!!!!

We have found that baths are the cause of paris' irritation (how bizarre!) as when she has a shower she is fine, I even gave her a very tepid bath the other day to see if it was temperature related and she still flared right up :( And we don't even use soaps!!!!

We also started using MediHoney Eczema Cream a month or so ago and that really seems to do the trick.

We are so thrilled its almost gone! I am so happy!

Just thought I would share the news, and if you have a bubs with eczema maybe try the shower instead it worked for us it might work for you too :)

I found that when I gave dd her bath her eczema would flare up. I tried everything. Then as I was cleaning the bath one day I realised that it could be the cleaning solution that was causing the problem. I started using tea tea oil mixed with water to clean the bath and dd eczema hasn't flared up since.

I wish I could say that was what caused Paris' eczema but I use enjo, so no chemicals at all, and still flared up :(

But thats great news. As for Paris her eczema has nearly all cleared up now I really think its thanks to that medihoney cream :) Worked a treat, and she can have the occasional bath now too!

I had eczema for years and years since I was a child. It wasnt food related and wouldnt be controlled by anything!
Mum struggled and tried everything. I remember as a child being smothered in creams .. a different one every week or so and nothing ever seemed to help except the nasty ones (Cortisone esp.), I didnt want to use cortisone except when absolutely essential for my sanity~!

I moved to Qld and it dissapeared for years until I moved back to Adelaide when it flared up again chronically at 30! I found after showers it often flared up and in winter it was sometimes worse!

Eventually I had a friend who noticed my eczema on my neck at work recommend a product I hadnt tried... Cetaphil.
It comes as a wash lotion, soap bar and a moisturiser. I tried just the lotion first.. then the moisturiser.. and eventually the soap bar ( no soap at all in it) its a humectant and replaces skin moisture and calms angry skin. I was stunned at how well it worked when things such as the coal tart products, egoderm, pinetarsol etc failed. I even had tried the NS24 and the NS8 (?) creams.
Cetaphil has changed my life literally !!! I think the best bit is it is so gentle and works for dermatitis and eczema. I just thought I would share this with you all as it has given me relief after 30 yrs of itching and hassles!!
