Anyone used City Fertility Centre in Brisbane?

Hi girls-
I'm new here, and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with City Fertility in Brisbane (or any other branch of the QLD company). My DH and I have been TTC 4 years. We have been living in USA 6 years and moved home in December, hence we haven't looked into assisted TTC before. We're going to try one more cycle, but if still BFN we will talk to someone. I chart my cycles, so have some ideas about what might be going on, so at least have some specific questions to ask first off.

Just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or advice for someone who's VERY NERVOUS about entering into fertility assistance.

I have not been to City Fertility but I have heard they are good

I see Dr Barbara Hall She is part of Queenslad Fertility group she is located at Spring Hill. I have PCOS and do not ovulate at all on my own clomid failed and I got my BFP 4 weeks ago with injections :) She is a VERY good FS and very friendly.. If you need to know more info let me know..

About 2 yrs ago my DH and I went through an IVF cycle with City Fertility Centre in Brisbane, we were very lucky and conceived on our first clycle with only one egg collected from my ovarys. Since then my IVF Dr who was the Director of City Fertility Clinic has branch out on his own ( Life Fertility Clinic, 35 Astor Terrace, Spring Hill) I highly recommend this new clinic as I am currently undergoing another cycle and it's way more of a personal caring environment, I guess they have taken away the hospital feel that City Fertility has, plus they have free yummy food & coffee machine.

It's worth having a look at the website: lifefertility.com.au, this Dr is very funny (always has you laughing) and he makes you feel very positive about the whole process. This Dr has also treated my sister who is having her seconded child in December through IVF, and 2 of my friends are due in October after I undergoing through IVF with the same Dr.

Hi we have just fallen PG with Dr Das at City Fertility the team is great and excellent I cannot say enough about them. It did take us a few cycles to get our BFP

My DH & I also used City Fertility in Brisbane with Dr Lindstrom. The team there are fantastic and i couldn't reccomend them highly enough!

Thanks for all your replies. I'm sure all FS has positive outcomes, it's about finding what's right for us, right? I have to keep telling myself that. But really, I'm feeling a little less lost with your replies. :dance:

Shannon22, I am hoping to see Dr Lindstrom too, and have heard good things about her as a gyno, so hopefully she can help us achieve our BFP soon! :pray:

Well, AF arrived today :( :wall: (was expecting it since my temp dropped yesterday, but it's still very emotional when it actually happens - don't you find?), so we'll give it one more chance next month before seeking FS. Have ordered Pre-Seed this month (have used once or twice before, but are in a better place now). :pink-babydust::bluedust:

But then again I always treat myself to a 'naughty' dinner and a glass of red wine on the day AF arrives, so it can't be all bad - and it signifies the start of another hopeful cycle.

Good Luck Bub 4 Me, just so you know Dr Lindstrom can take a while to get into for an initial consult so maybe give her a call and you can always cancel if you dont need her anymore.

I fell pregnant with twins on my 5th IVF cycle, although we didn't transfer for one of those because of OHSS. But like you said it all depends on what your fertility issues are. Good luck!
