Tips for flying/travelling overseas with a toddler?
Hello, hope i've posted this in the right spot.
Firstly i want to say how great i think BB is! i feel like a bit of a post junkie lately :) But its great to know there's always someone to give me some advice.
Ok my Question is: I'm off to Fiji with my DH and DS who is 2years old. We are going for a week and i'm just wondering if anyone has any advice for travelling with a toddler, especially overseas? We've taken him on car trips before (which are always a nightmare:doh:) and he's been on a plane once before to Sydney but that was only an hour flight. It'll be 3 hours to Fiji and then an hour bus ride to our resort.
I'll take some toys and munchees for him to keep him occupied but is there anything specific i should consider?
I've been told to give him a drink or something to suck on during take off and descent as it can hurt his ears. Anything else i should know?
Also i'll be 31weeks preggas as well- any travell advice there? My OB has cleared me to fly and just said to drink lots of water and wiggle my feet.
Any advice or experiences would be great- DH and i are hoping for a fairly stress-free trip (well as stress free as it can be with a toddler ;))
