Can someone look at my chart? Ovulation?

Does it look like i've ovulated? My ewcm is usually very accurate at predicting ovulation. And the pre-o dip on cd21 makes me think that it was then but FF won't give me cross-hairs. Thoughts?

well FF wants to see a sustained higher temp for at least 3 days post O. at first i thought that meant 3 higher than the suspected O day but no, its 3 higher than your average. so i guess thats why they said CD23. maybe you didnt get the cross hairs cause of the two drops after that. i dunno. you can go into the FF message boards and go into the VIP section (if you are a paid subscriber that is) and get one of their 'experts' to look at your chart and give you feedback.

yes you have def ovulated on 8th. Im no expert however I have been charting for over 4 years now and we had only started trying to fall pregnant just after our wedding in June this year and I used my chart and monitered my eggwhite and hey presto on the second attempt we fell pregnant, I did however suffer a very early miscarriage only last week, so bit sad but also positive about the fact that the charting does work and that we can fall pregnant. So keep going, I do however use the celsius electronic basal thermometer rather than farenheit but either way it still works. I recommend reading Taking charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler.

Is there any difference with CD27 or 28? Wake early? Late night?

I seem to think you O'd on CD21, with my last chart before I fell pg I overrode FF as I knew I had O'd earlier than they were suggesting.

Mannie - i use a celcius thermo, i don't know why FF only shows up in F when i share my chart. lol
Beck - I don't know why my temp dipped on cd27/28. I can't see that i've done anything different then normal. Weird.

You'll def find many pg obsessed lovelies here thats for sure, sometimes I think I just drive my hubby mad with all the baby planning, like checking my temp everymorning, checking my mucus, doing my chart, telling him Im fertile now lets go for it, sex just seems to become mechanical or more like a means to an end, its lost its romanticism, I find sex is much better when we aren't trying, not sure if anyone else has experienced the same thing??? Goodluck to all who are in the TTC process right now, I'm rooting for ya!!! LOL

I'd say you ovulated on day 21 or 22 (5th or 6th Aug). I find that charting cervical mucus is more accurate than temperature, and is less prone to fluctuations. I use temperature and other signs as a back-up, but rely 90% on tracking mucus. I really love fertility friend, but have found their calculations a day or two off in the past - but hey, they offer such an amazing service, I'm more than willing to forgive them ;)

BTW congratulations to all you wonderful women for being so in touch with your cycles and fertility - I wish more women had mastered this skill!

Sorry what a blunder.... I have posted in the wrong spot.. but yes it looked like you would have ovulated on day 21. Personally I would have also track CM with temp as it would give a better combined result.

Since I am here, can I ask, in charting CM , on the day the egg white like discharge is present is the day you ovulate or does ovulation happens the day after its discharge??? I have always thought it was the former.

i thought the EWCM meant that O would come in the next 24-48 hours.

The last day that fertile CM (eggwhite/slippery) is present is usually the day that ovulation occurs. It does vary slightly from woman to woman, but the last day of fertile mucus - whether a woman has ten days of fertile mucus, or one day of fertile mucus, indicates ovulation.

Thank everyone for your thoughts. Well i definatly ovulated and got my BFP on 8dpo! Now i'm just praying for a sticky baby. :pray:
