Bali - tips? (11.5 month old)

Hi Everyone
we are off to Bali next saturday - YAY!!!
I am just wondering if any of you have any advice especially what to bring...
we are staying in v nice places so i am not too worried about food etc but do you think I should take some food with me?
Also - do I need to take nappies for the whole time - are disposies easy to buy there?(ubud to begin and then semiyak)
someone recommended infant insect repellent...
What else do you recommend?

also if anyone knows a good baby hire place where i can get a stroller etc and/or some toys..

My DD was in Bali last year with DGS who was 18months. She took her own nappies and was really pleased she did because the Bali nappies were terrible and did not fit properly. They also took thei5 baby carrier and were so pleased they did because they said a pusher would have been a nightmare. The hotel supplied a porta cot. Food was not a problem. My DD was still breastfeeding and they drank bottled water and ate at restaurants without any concerns. DGS had one night of tummy upset, but the girls in room service were wonderful and were happy to come up to the room three times during the night to change the sheets in the cot and bed and they were even happier with the nice tip they were given.
