Some Q`s about making liners, etc?
Im thinking of buying a mix of disana nappies (a shapped flat) and babybeehinds at this stage and buying a few wool covers/over pants and making some merino knit covers myself.
I thought id buy some microfleece to make some liners. I looked yesterday at S/L but the microfleece all looked like it had a top side and an underside. I dont remember my old microfleec liners looking like that...but they were brought and so might have been a different type of micro fleece or possibly to layers sewn together?
Also, I brought a some brushed cotton, and was thinking of making some folds/pads, but also have some old brushed cotton PJs that I thought i might recycle and use for making these too....do you think it will work? or will the old pjs be too worn and not absorbant enough - is there a particuar thickness that should be used otherwise they will be useless?
I think we will need the inserts for the disana naps, the bbh probably wont need more cause they come with them already (bamboo osfa).
I was thinking of making myself some luna pads later on, so maybe I could save the fabric for that - but to be honest I have not researched those yet, so have no idea what materials are used...
