Unsure where to post this, but does anyone recommend a good pillow? I had a great one in Indonesia but had to leave it behind. I'm dying without it. Any suggestions?

I'vwe got an awesome one that I still use to lean against when feeding (or reading in bed!). My girlfriend gave it to me but I know it's from Target. IT's quite long - looks kind of like those tri pillows but much longer and not as shaped. You can lay against it and it's long enough to wrap around so you can rest babies head on it (when they're older). Now I just want to get a new cover for it cause I've used it so much it's slightly torn. I have seen heaps at Baby Bunting but some were quite expensive.
I bought an expensive 'body pillow' from a maternity shop, but I have also seen cheaper ones at Target and Harvey Normans. I have found it fantastic during PG, it is a 4ft long pillow, which went between my knees under my bump and then I hugged it with both arms when sleeping. It took some manovering when turning over at night, but probably no more than manovering a PG bump.
I got a Snoogle from Toys'R'Us for about $70 (on special i think)... worth it's weight in gold. It's a big "C" shape, so you can either face into the "C" or let the "C" cuddle you from behind IYKWIM... the bottom & top bits go between your legs & support your belly, as well as pillowing your head. I love it to bits. Turning over is a bit of a saga, but it was anyway!

Glad you asked that question too! I am am looking for one that will be suitable. Might have a look at that one at Toys R Us the 'C' pillow sound perfect.
oh and there's also a mega-snoogle (this is probably NOT it's real name )... which I think is almost like a complete circle (with a hole at the bottom) but I think you'd need a fair bit of bed space for it. So saying, I found my "C" Snoogle took up less space than the previous fortress of ordinary pillows.
The first night I had it, DH looked at me snuggly nestled in my Snoogle with an expression of bliss on my face and declared that I loved it more than him... and right at that moment - I think it was true!
Ahem... better stop raving about the pillow now!
i hate these pillows, they're great if you don't have blankets on top so for a day nap but in winter at night... turning over is a nightmare (bump is so not as bad). atm I just use a regular boomerang pillow wedged between my legs. its not as useful now i'm 39 weeks but only one more week or so left. i actually bought my pregnancy pillow from the markets in brand new condition. its like a giant long pillow so maybe that's why its harder to maneouvre?? it's very wide though which is so supportive.
Thanks for your input everyone! I went to A Little Miracle here in Canberra and got an 'Inspired Living' maternity pillow. I had the best sleep last night!!!
Alan did say he felt he had been replaced when he came in and I was asleep hugging it like no tomorrow!!! belfie - reminded me of you!
YAY! I'm so happy to hear you had a good sleep, and hey, there ain't nuthin' wrong with a lil' pillow luvvin'
I just picked up the Inspired Living pillow from Babies Galore they have 10% off till this Sunday so i thought I might as well get it now. I will test it out tonight and let you know what I think of it. DH has the flu now so I don't mind cuddling up to pillow instead of him right now anyway.
It's weird. At first the rolling over with Snoogle was a drama, but I've become one with it. I wake up with it wrapped around me and I'm lying sort of on my back with my legs all entwined in it and I feel super comfy, until baby starts head-butting me in the bladder
The one complaint I have is that I now have a pain in my groin from my legs being forced apart. I think my Snoogle is a little bit over stuffed. If I had a sewing machine I'd open the seams and take out some stuffing and then sew it back up.
Also, getting out of bed is a bit difficult because I put the great-wall-of-chastity on the outside of the bed so I don't cut off all contact with my husband. But I agree, the Snoogle takes up less room in bed than the old pillow fortress.
Another thing is that if I am lying with my belly to the snoogle, I wake up sweating because I get way too hot with it.
Anyway, Snoogle saved my sanity so I forgive its weaknesses. Nobody's perfect.
 I love it! You're very noble & forgiving Kuraiza!:
