Hey there ladies we are having the BIG scan tomorrow i am getting nervous and xcited all at the same time i get to see my we jelly bean again.
I am nervous though as all of us probably do when it comes to getting scan just hoping everything ok and where should be and no trouble with him or her oh and that another thing finding out what baby is that is the xciting bit to.
I have my fingers crossed for anyone else that is having scan done,will up date when back from scan

Wow good luck tomorrow. I can't believe that it was a week ago that I had mine done now! Wow does time fly. I was the same as you partly nervous and partly excited. I would say more excited though. Now learn from my mistake. make sure you ask what it is your seeing on the screen if they don't explain and if you see them measuring ask them what are they measuring etc. Ask to hear the heart beat and preferably longer than a millisecond which is all I got. Ask them to give you the photo's you want not just the ones they think you want. I wanted a pick of bumps bits so that I could see what it looked like so I could feel confident that they were right. If you get a DVD done ask them to record the entire session and not just 3 minutes. Ask them to record the baby as it moves on its own. Mine didn's stop moving and zooming in and out i just got dizzy from her jiggling around. I would have liked even 30 seconds of just recording the babies movements with out interuption. Um have I forgotten anything... Make sure you ask them to check again if you can't see what it is they said they are seeing and ask them to point it out until you get it. After all your paying them for the scan you might as well walk out of there with your expectations meet. I know its a medical scan but there is no reason why you can't understand what it is your seeing.

i know that when we walk in there tomorrow we will be treated well and all will be answered for us as i had the same guy with my son he is a hard case guy with a good sence of humor,we will be getting the scan done on a video tape that way it can not get scratched and then not work and they start it when they start scan and stop it when they finish scan about 35mins i think and the tape will have talking on it as well so everyone that watches it will know what it is to.I know what i am looking at as this my 2nd but my partners first and my 6yr old be there to so be all new for them, so be getting everything explained to us,we have all got colds but stil going,as long as i get a good profile pic i dont mind what other ones are of :lol:.rant the sonographer is the sort of guy that if he can not find sex for us he will allow us to go out and sit for a while and wait for baby to move.
I can not wait to come back and tell everyone what we are having.
Cool, I am glad you know the guy doing the scan then and it sounds like it will be a good experience for you all. i have just booked my 4D ultra sound for when I am 28 weeks just cause I really didn't get that good a scan or experience last week at my 19 weeks scan. I am looking forward to that although it seems so far away 28 weeks (2 months away), but I am sure time will just fly as it has been already.

Puppies: whats the difference between 4D and the DVD you get, I thought because you got the DVD it would be 4D..am I wrong here?
as far as i can tell getting on dvd or video is just of a normal scan but a 4 d is like the picture the lady above you has in her siggy,but i could be wrong
