Libido in Pregnancy (possible TMI)

Ok so I feel really embarassed asking :doh:... but just want to know if I am normal or not...

during my 1st TM I was aroused all the time and pretty much wanted as much sex as possible (in between puking) :sick:.... but now I am in my 2nd and I'm tired/cranky and don't want it at all - then i feel guily because I know DF is climbing the walls.
The other prob is that when I do feel like it (not just as maintenance for DF) I find it really difficult to climax which I've never had a problem with before.
I'm so sorry if this is way TMI but I'd love to know if anyone else is/ has experienced the same thing and if they know anyway around it... DF is being very understanding but I am beating myself up over it :(

Not sure about the difficulty reaching a climax, but in terms of libido, yes, this is perfectly normal. DW was very similar during her first pregnancy, not so her second.

Dee i was exactly the same, i was like you in first tri i couldnt get enough, second i was interested, i tried but i just couldnt get there lol (tmi), and towards the end of the third it all came back. I am no help as to what you can do as we tried different ways to get me in the mood but didnt work, only thing that workes was time, i think our hormones are just going crazy at that stage we dont know what we want.

Dee it is not unusual to go either way with sex drive when you are pregnant. I found that I wanted it less with the second pregnancy, mainly because I was so tired all the time. I did not have much trouble with the climaxing bit because it was a long time between drinks iykwim!!!!!

I was starting to think that I was this abnormal b!tc$ .......
it's good to know it's not just me and that it will probably only last for a little while.
I don't know what I'd do without BB - everyone here is awesome
