hi pp,
I had severe ms first up and at my appt at hosp I think I was around 70kg, (usually around 75) I weighed myself at mums the other day and I was 86kg! I havent been eating that much differently though, maybe not being quite as carefull, maybe just a little more choccie.....;)
I put on 12kg with DD.
With DS its hard to say because I lost alot of weight due to HG, at 39 weeks I was about 3kg heavier than when I fell PG but because I had lost the weight at the start I take that into consideration of how much I put on because I put all that back on plus 3kg. So it was approx 9kg with DS.
I put on 9kg and that was all from about 16 weeks onwards. Still got 2kg of it to lose.
#1 i put in 30kg. Everyone kept telling me to eat for 2. Pfft!
#2 i put on 10kg but lost it all the day after he was born.
#3 so far at 17 weeks i have actually lost 6kg so hopfully thats a good sign i wont gain much.
With DS i put on a wopping 26 kg's with DD i put on 18kg's i dont usually eat much so when i was pregnant i had to pick up meals i didnt eat... probably picked up too many... hehehe
I think by 25 weeks I had lost 6kg & only ended up 3kg heavier by the end than when I started so I'd say you wont put much on overall. I lost mine over night too LOL I ended up being 5kg lighter than when I fell PG this time round. With DD I was 1kg lighter than pre pregnancy the following day.
I do think it has a bit to do with genes though so considering what happened with your #2 I'd say you have a good chance of doing the same this time round :)
With DS I put on 12kg
with DD1 I lost 5 kg's but once she was born I had a total loss of around 15kg ( just eating healthily as all I wanted was tomatoes and carrots LOL )
with DD2 I lost with her aswell I think around 5kg's but am not 100% sure as I did not weigh that often with her at all
i didnt weigh myself after DD was born so i can comment lol.
But i know that i was 4kg lighter than my prepregnancy weight when i fell preg with #2.
So less weight to start with with this one. I wonder if that is why i have put more on?
Plus the chocolate doesnt help
DD1 18kg
DD2 7.5kg
This bub ive not weighed myself since 8 weeks and im 21 weeks now!
I put on 13 kgs. I was 43 kgs before getting PG and 56 kgs the day before my waters broke
I really should weight my self to see what I am now.....fingers crossed for around 50kgs
1first born 40 kilo
2nd born 30
3rd born 20
4th born 18
with DD i put on 11kg lost 7 in 7 days then the rest by the first month
so far ive put on 2.5kg and im alomost 16 weeks, about the same so far as with DD
With DS i put on something like 30kg i was 54 when got preggas and was over 80 when i had him.
this one pregnant with DD i started at 63 and am now 79kg (16kg so far) hoping not to put to much more.
with my twins i weighed 2 kg less the day before i gave birth than before i got pg- 1 week later i think i had lost around 20kg! Didnt stay off for long
this pg i am still 2kg lighter than before i started- so hoping to keep the weight gain to a minium! Doesnt help having chocolate big m and a magnum every day!!!
odette
i put on 35 kilos with DS, 2kg in the first trimester, and the other 33 in the other 2!
This time im starting out about 10kg heavier and would be happy with the regular 6-15kg weight gain.
I was seeing a deitician the last time, who told me i was not eating enough! bah, wont be going back to her!
I put on 24, 27, 20 and 15 kg with my pg's. interestingly, The bigger the baby I had the less weight I gained. So i gained 27kg with my smallest bub and 15 with my biggest.
I only put on about 7 or 8 kg each pg, which according to the scales I lost after but after each one I have progressively put on weight! Am now about 10kg heavier than before I was ever pg. It varies SO much, I wouldn't worry :) I know people smaller than me who gained 20kg in their pregnancies.
