Omg Ouch!!!!
Every morning I use a cleansing wipe on my face before moisturising and applying my make up. I usually use the Neutrogena brand which I love but last week they were all out so I bought the Dove brand.
This morning I was cleaning my face and ****!!!!!!
I looked at the cloth and there was a tiny metal coil embedded into it and it scratched up my whole left cheek!! My cheek now is red and sore - I have a massive circle of scratches.
DH is going to take a photo of my cheek and I'm going to ring them today to complain.
Ouchy! :(

Oh my god thats awful! Wow, I hope they have a hell of a big apology for you

I've decided I will ring them and get an address for complaints and I will write a letter.
Seriously though - how the hell did a shard of metal get into a face cleansing product??!!

To Whom It May Concern,
RE: Dove Cleansing Towelettes
I have been a loyal Dove customer for many years. A product that I use every day, as part of my skin care regime, are the cleansing towelettes. Usually, I have had no problems with this product.
This morning, however, I was using a towelette and experienced a sudden, sharp pain on my left cheek. When I looked at the towelette, I noticed a tiny shard of metal embedded within the cloth. When I looked in the mirror I noticed that it had left several nasty scratches on my face.
I have enclosed the towelette as well as the remainder of the pack which was purchased at Coles, **** ****. I would appreciate a full refund as well as reimbursement for the postage.
I don’t know how this shard of metal became embedded within the cloth but I hope it is something you will seriously look into. Understandably, I have lost confidence in this product.
A response would be appreciated confirming that you are investigating this incident and also outlining how you will prevent this from happening in the future.

hey there
make sure you take heaps of pics of the cloth before you send it to them- that way you have them as evidence. I would be ringing them rather than sending it to them- and when you send it- register it so that they have to sign for it so it doesnt get 'lost' in the post!!!!
Its not good enough- you were hurt!!!!
Push it !!! What would have happened if you somebody had tried to wipe their eye make-up off with that cloth!!!!

I ended up sending a photo of the cloth and I also forwarded a copy of my letter and photos to the ACCC product safety department.
