MCN's too low?

I have recently started using MCNs with DS but I have noticed that they sit very low on him. I have a couple of bitti d'lish and a berry plush. The bitti ones sit almost two inches below his belly button and the berry plush is about an inch below. They are all large size, but he almost looks too big for them now at 1 so I don't see them lasting until he is toilet trained.

He has always worn a couple of sizes ahead of his weight in disposables (was wearing 13-18kg walker size when he was about 8kg). They fit fine around his legs and waist, they just don't seem to come up high enough. Is that how they are supposed to be?

The d'lish do tend to sit under the belly (berry plush too from memory), but that's okay, they don't wee there do they ;). Making sure the boy bits are facing down, there's no real reason for a nappy to cover up to the belly button. Just make sure the snaps are nice and tight across the tum and you should be fine (we've not had a problem due to that and I have 12 d'lish). If you need to, due to thigh size, snap the outside snap on the thigh size, skip a snap and snap the inner one over one so the tum is pulled taut. kwim?
