Hi all,
Am thinking of purchasing the Tasman Tuscany Cot for $549.00 with a free Boori inner-spring mattress worth $169.95.
The special is currently on at Babies Galore.
Does anyone have any feedback on this cot?
Thanks :D

my 2 cents worth... (and this is just my personal preference and bubba isn't here yet) but I really wanted one with a single-handed dropside mechanism. The Tasman Tuscany is a two-handed dropside (but very nice looking I must say!). I ended up getting a Kingparrot (with the single-sided drop) for much cheaper than the Tasman, and since assembling it last week, the KP seems very solid & well-made.
I've since had a GF tell me that her tall DH used to always lift DS out leaving the side up. She'd come back with an armful of DS only to discover the side up... but with the single-handed dropside, she was able to pop it down easily & put DS in.
But, depends on what you really want too! Happy shopping :)

Thanks for your feedback Belfie
Definitly something to consider - hubby is same height as me (ie short  ) so I can't see him leaving the side up, but you never know...
I just think it's a great bargain money-wise, as we've looked at heaps of cots, thinking that they aren't too pricey, but then you start factoring in the $100+ mattress and suddenly they aren't that cheap!!
But thanks again, I might spend a couple of hours having a play with some of the display cots before making my decision as you've given me food for thought!!
