Twins
I just went for my first scan and wow twins which do not run on either side of our families. However they are bth different sizes the bigger sack and yoke measures at 6.3 wks and the smaller one is 5.3 weeks. Has anyone else had this occur and I have read that twins give bad m.s but I have not had tis as yet. This is our first pregnancy and any info would be appreciated.

Hi
I'm pregnant with twins I have 4 weeks to go. Mine are fraternal twins ( Separate sacs ). Fraternal twins are actually on the mothers side of the family so if you go back their would have been twins somewhere down the track. We went back 5 generations and there were twins. Identical twins is where their is one sperm and the egg divides there is no medical history is can just happen. My boy is much bigger than my little girl.
Congrats if you have any more questions just ask
 Cathie

Congratulations from me as well. I am nearly 11 weeks with fraternal twins.
Both of the sacs for my babies appear to be the same size. I would possibly ask your OB about it at the next appointment.
Where abouts are you located?
Good luck

If you have two sacs at different gestation, you may have ovulated twice (two eggs) that were fertilised at separate times.

Hi there I am 13 weeks preg with twins. It was a shock for me too as I had been trying so long to conceive.. I have been lucky and have not been sick.. Nauseas but not throwing up.. My bubs are in different sacs and twin A is 0.4cm bigger than twin B. It is so exciting.. How far along is everyone else with twins?? My belly has popped out and my breasts which were D to DD cup anyway are MASSIVE.. I feel like dolly parton!!
Anyway Good luck to everyone.. Back to work :(
