Continuing formula after 12 mnths?
Back, with a question regarding formula this time :)
My lovely MIL put this question to me when I mentioned to her I had reduced DD's daily bottles.
For babies who are having bottles of formula, what is the normal amount per day after 12 mnths? I was under the impression that by a year old, they can pretty much do without regular bottles if they're eating well. I thought all that follow-on formula stuff was a bit pointless...
DD eats like a trooper and so far so good, she's not fussy. Will eat her meat, fish, veg, dairy, bread, fruit, yoghurt, whatever. So I saw no reason to keep up her 3 x 180ml bottles a day as I feel she gets what she needs from her solids. Now it's just one bottle when she wakes up and one bottle at bedtime. In between, she drinks water from a cup.
Is this the norm?
Thanks,
Neuri
