We are currently looking at the P&T prams.
Would love some feedback with pro's and con's of them and if you would or would not recommend them.

I'll be watching this thread as I would like to know anyone that has the Phil & Teds Sport Buggy!
Is it worth the money? Is the lower seat good for newborns?? Thanks.
I have just bought one and only used it a few times and bub#2 isn't here yet but I LOVE it! I have had the Steelcraft Transction and also the Strider 3 and the P & T pram is great! So light, easy to fold and steer and the way you can move the doubles kit from front to back is great as well.
There are lots of people with them on here who love them so I am sure you will hear from them soon. One of my belly buddies swore black and blue that she would never get one, had a double stroller and a twin Mountain Buggy and she recently succumed to one and loves it! :) (You know who you are!)
I'll be watching this thread with interest too... my sister recently bought a P&Ts for her first bub, they both seem to love it! Auntie OP has had many a go, I can now steer it one handed through a shopping centre (woo) and its quite easy to manouvere (sp?) into baby change rooms etc.
I think we'll end up getting one too (thankfully Nanna and Pop are buying one for their second grandchild, phew!) but interested to hear other comments...
I like the Dash, & thats great you can put the seat front or back. Would you but the newborn in the bottom seat or my son who'll be 23mths when this one is born?
I have the sports, and it's fantastic. When Emily was a newborn, I had her on the bottom and Nina in the toddler seat on top. It steered really well with both girls in it and It folds easily. I now have Emily up top and Nina in the toddler seat down the bottom. Nina is able to poke her head around and see Emily still, She isn't able to get hold of the wheels, which is a good thing.
ButterflyB - the heaviest baby always goes onto the front, so you have the doubles kit on the front while newborn is flat, then when younger baby is big enough to sit up a bit, they can go in the doubles kit at the back and the older/heavier bub goes on the front. HtH!
ha ha Tan. Yes, I am the P&T's convert - I've got the sports. I find it great for the shops but still much prefer my double for proper walks.
Pros: light, easy to get around and steer with two kids, cool colours (very legitimate reason to buy one!)
Cons: DD#2 was too big in the newborn position before she was big enough to go into the toddler seat down the bottom (I carried her in a sling for about a month). I have to walk carefully so that I don't kick the toddler seat down the bottom with my shins - not too much of a problem in a flat shopping centre but a real PITA when out and about tackling hills.
If I weren't going to have kids close together I would recommend the mountain buggy. I miss my mountain buggy!
I have the dash and i love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hi my original pram wit dd was a beemer q.... that couldtn attach toddler seat ect so we brought the sports p&T i hate it! the clips on the back of the main seat r silly theres no storage and when u buy the side satchels it makes the pram wide and u get caught on things in shops.... my dd was 22months whe ds was born but now she see's him as the baby and she doesnt want 2 go in the pram any more which frustrates me!!! i wish i hadn't of bought the blo0dy thing and just kept my beemer q! sorry 4 the vent views from both sides r always good! good luck hun!!
I have the sports & love it. My boys now 3.5 & 9months. There is not much storage when you have the doubles kit on the back, and apparently the side bags make it quite wide. I bought the mummy hook, and you just hang our bags of he handle. If using for a newborn, I'd recommend the coccon, as the tend to jiggle around a bit. My only complaint about it, is the footbrake is almot impossible to get on an off, and every one I know who has this pram has said the same thing! They may have fixed this in the new model.
The Dash has break on either side of handles u push them in and fold down handle. Vibe has a red button on handle but when i played in shop i found it hard to press and dh didnt like look of it.
everyone i know with sports complains of break
oooh yes. Definitely should have added the brake as a really, really huge con. The number of times I've almost kicked DD#2 in the head when I've tried to get it off or on. TBH most of the time that I use the brake I put it on and off by hand. Its a serious PITA
I love our P&T; it's stylish, strong, safe but it's also very heavy when getting it in and out of the car, and even after 11 months I stil have trouble with getting the brake off. Would be better if it was a few kg's lighter aswell.
This is our last bub so I dont have to worry about the doubles kit :D
Would you recommend this as a single?
Yes i only have 1 and love it.
cocoon is a must keeps bubs snug!!!!!!!!1
I love my P&T sport!
Its so easy to move around! My youngest sits in the front (18mths) and my 3 yr old likes to sit in the back, she'll have to sit in the front soon as she's too big for it now.
I HATE the brakes!!!!! They are a PITA seriously but I love everything else so it not too bad.......A backpack is a must instead of the other style nappy bags as there really is no where to put it with both kids in the pram!
When my DD2 was born I noticed her head would be lower than her legs which she didn't like so I called the company and they sent a strap to me to fix the problem, all was good then.........My DH also put a hole in the handle of the pram so we had to get a replacement.........I still haven't put the new one on the pram lol.
Overall I'm very glad we got our pram!!!
Cheers,
Beck
Sorry to hijack hun :redface:but do you ladies who recommend the coocoon, recommend it for warmer weather too? I am planning on using the pram when bub is around 1 mth old plus(possibly later) which will be November? I am planning on getting pramskins too - would they be enough or should we look at a cocoon?
Sorry again 2plus1...
