Head flopping forward
Lately it seems like the only position Peter wants to have his head in is quite forward, almost so his chin is on his chest. I'm not sure if he is doing it on purpose, or if his head is actually flopping because he can't hold it upright. He usually has pretty good head control in general, and this has only started recently, so I am confused. I get quite worried when he is in the carseat and it happens, in case it restricts his breathing.
I am concerned that he might have some 'structural' damage from birth, when he got stuck.
Or is this normal??

I have noticed Isabell does this, but its coz she is looking at the feet or at her hands ususally when they are grabbing a handfull of her clothing down on her chest/tummy.
If your concerned you could take him to the docs or even a chiro..

Jack sometimes does this, and he has excellent head control (has since birth). As Meg said it is usually when he is trying to get his toes or clothing or playing with his hands. If you are worried get him checked out at the doctors, a mother should always go with her instincts.:D

My DD does this a bit but I think she is trying to sit up. She puts her chin on her chest and looks like she's doing little sit ups!

If your worried it can't hurt to have your CHN nurse check it out. They should be able to let you know if it is something worth worrying about.

Kristin- Peter does just the same, and he also pulls his legs up at the same time like he's doing a crunch, especially in the bath.
I'm not sure if this is the same or a separate thing to his head generally 'resting' on his chest.
I might drop into the MCHN centre.
